I’m Veronica (Ms. Roni), a second-generation piano teacher, professional performer, and lifelong musician. I offer personalized piano lessons for students ages 5 and up, designed to spark creativity, build strong technique, and foster a lasting love of music.

🎶 About Me

Music has been part of my life since childhood. I come from a musical family and began piano at a very young age, eventually studying under Dr. Donna Bogard, a renowned music professor at CU. Throughout my school years, I played violin in orchestra, keyboard in jazz band, and served as piano accompanist for the Arvada West High School Choir. I’ve performed in numerous music guilds and received many awards along the way.

Today, I’m not only a teacher, I’m a passionate musician who spends hours each day playing, practicing, and composing.  I’m the keyboardist in a local soul-funk band, I play solo piano at private events and at local restaurants/coffee shops, creating ambiance through music.

Beyond performing, I’m also a certified sound therapist and vibroacoustic therapy practitioner. I volunteer at local hospitals, offering gentle, ambient piano music that I consider a form of sound therapy. It’s a way to support healing and bring comfort to patients, families, and staff through the soothing power of live music.

I truly love giving the gift of music, whether it’s through listening, performing, or helping others discover their own musical voice. Watching my students grow in confidence and joy is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

🎵 My Teaching Style

I teach all styles of piano, from classical to pop, jazz, and improvisation. Lessons are tailored to each student’s level, interests, and goals. Whether your child is just starting out or returning after a break, I create a welcoming, fun, and enriching experience.

For younger beginners (ages 5–7), I use the Music for Little Mozarts program, which features adorable plush characters like Mozart Mouse and Beethoven Bear. These lovable companions help introduce musical concepts in a playful, age-appropriate way that kids absolutely adore.
